Meal Information

Competitors are responsible for their own breakfasts. Lunches for competitors will be served at Woodcroft Community Centre, across the parking lot from the Club. The Commonwealth Club will be serving (selling) lunches and hosting a bar for the week.

Two special evening dinners for athletes and paid guests will be hosted on Sunday (Aug. 15) and Wednesday (Aug. 18); Sunday’s meal will be an evening banquet at the host hotel; Wednesday’s meal will be a barbeque pig roast hosted at the Commonwealth Club.

Internet Access at the Majors

Free wireless Internet access will be available at the clubhouse for those who can never be too far from their email or web access. It is a secured connection — please enquire at the clubhouse for the access password (we will not respond to email requests for the password).

Getting to the Commonwealth LBC

There is currently (Aug. 2010) a road reconstruction project taking place on 142 Street, west of the Club; for those driving to the Club there are no left turns allowed from 111 Avenue (eastbound) onto 142 Street. Coming from the west or south, the best alternate route is to approach the club from the south (107 Ave.) up 142 Street. It’s best to allow a little extra time to get to the club with the road construction delays.
